IMMEASURABLE ( Ronnie, Yanna, &
Victoria)
These three young ladies come from three parts of the world Ronnie- Washington D.C., Yanna- Youngsville North Carolina, & Victoria- Memphis Tennessee. In 2002 Steven Brooks decided to take on the adventures of managing a female group after he had been in the music industry working with male signed and unsigned artists. Ronnie who is the daughter of Mr. Brooks was the first of the trio group, having in his mind to develop an R&B group to present to major record companies to be signed. In 2003 Mr. Brooks was scouting for two other young ladies to join forces with Ronnie to sing R&B music. He found Yanna in Youngsville, North Carolina where she had been praying to God to use her talent that he blessed her with. Her prayers were answered when a friend of her brother’s introduced her to Mr. Brooks and he decided to move her to Baltimore, Maryland to become the second member of a singing group with no name. In 2004 both Ronnie and Yanna was introduced to Victoria by a local talent show promoter that knew Victoria, because she had shown an interest in finding her place in the music industry by seeking out talent shows in the Maryland metro area. Upon Victoria auditioning for the group, Victoria was added as the third member. Ronnie, Yanna, and Victoria found out that between the three of them the one thing they all shared was that they are all preachers’ kids. After countless hours of rehearsing and recording their R&B demo that was to be submitted to the record companies, the name was formed “IMMEASURABLE.” Immeasurable would go out and perform locally opening up for major R&B recording artists. In their performances, they would always give credit to God by dedicating some of their stage time to singing Gospel music. Immeasurable then launched their first gospel cd “Pre-Destined for the World.” This cd gave them international recognition. Immeasurable still being considered by the industry as a local up and coming group had to find a way to pursue their dreams and take care of their everyday responsibilities. So with the help of their manager, they became their own record company, manufacturing and promoting their C.D. Believing in their dreams, Immeasurable went out every day to sell their cds any and everywhere there were people. Through Immeasurable selling there cds it stopped being about selling cds for money, It became ministry. Selling their cds out in the streets was where the people were that had problems. Immeasurable came across people that felt there was no reason to live any longer, people who had lost their homes, families, loved ones, also people that turned to drugs, alcohol, and even thoughts of suicide. But through their ministry of music and spoken words from studying the bible, these people were willing to push through. Immeasurable is not just another group, but a group that reached out to help people with their problems and not talk about them. Immeasurable has had the opportunity to sow financially into people with newly launched ministries, and also send hundreds of children to amusement parks that they had never been to before. Immeasurable has transitioned from R&B music to gospel music to now what they call LIFE MUSIC. Immeasurable believes Jesus came that we may have life and have it more abundantly, so their music is centered to reach everyone (saved and unsaved). In 2009 Immeasurable decided to open their first restaurant in Baltimore, MD which was called Immeasurable Chicken and Waffle. This was one of many restaurants that was created for branding the group Immeasurable through food, and to get financial support to be able to help people. Immeasurable’s dream is to one day open up housing for single mothers, and to supply employment to second chance citizens in the United States.
